Is the iPhone Replacing the Motorcycle?
Reading the New York Times this morning and see this article: Is the iPhone Replacing the Motorcycle? written by Frederic Seidel who claims to own several motorcycles. He says he write poetry about motorcycles. So how the hell could he even think that the iPhone could replace a motorcyle, even for arm-candy? Oh wait, he writes prose, too, for the New York Times, even. He came up with a title that made my finger twitch (and click) before my eyelid finished blinking. Clever guy. The short article is just hype for Ducati's much anticipated introduction of their new 1200 cc V-twin sport bike called the 1199 Panigale.
[Updated on November 7: Here's what the hype is all about, written by another Ducati enthusiastic, Asphalt and Rubber.]
If you can't go to the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy, keep a eye on MotorBiker news for pictures from Mikel Werner.

Hey Cecilie,
I read the article before seeing your blog post on it and felt the same way. What a bunch of crap! If he would have talked a bit less about Duks new bike then it may have been a bit more viable.
